For The Truly Old School

The Analog Face

Same Receiver, different decade. Flip it over to the Wavemaster 3000 — cream and walnut, twin VU meters that swing with the music, and a lamplit dial parked just past 101 where London lives. For lovers of the truly old school analog vibe.

It just plays

No account, no playlist, no decisions. Open the Receiver, press the power button, and the STANDBY lamp goes out as London comes in. One little window, already tuned to the station.

The amber display

Dot-matrix letters scroll the station name and what's playing, the way departure boards and old hi-fis used to talk to you. Next to it, the spectrum analyser dances along with the music.

Make it sound like yours

Twelve sliders run from deep bass (31) up to sparkle (16k). Not sure where to start? Four buttons do it for you — FLAT plays it as broadcast, PIRATE adds that rooftop-aerial warmth, BASS brings the low end forward, and VOICE lifts the talk.

Simple controls

Pause, stop, a volume slider — that's the whole cockpit. And for the curious: the STREAM box at the bottom accepts any station URL you paste in. Hit TUNE, and you're there.
